Thumbelina did want to marry the Mole for she thought that she would have to live underground in his tunnel forever. Mole Promised her that he would take her to a beautiful place.
Thumbelina and Mr Mole fly to a far-off land where there was sunshine and blossoms. They get married and enjoy singing and dancing with their new friends and lived happily together.
